About This Program
In this WordPress Internship Program, learners don’t just watch or read—they build real websites step by step. From day one, participants begin working with live tools and real scenarios, completing practical tasks that mirror industry requirements. Each stage of the internship is structured as a guided task, helping learners gain confidence through hands-on experience.
Participants start by setting up the foundation of a website. They work on understanding how websites function, choose a domain and hosting, and install WordPress on both local systems and live servers. Learners then explore the WordPress dashboard, configure essential settings, and organize website structure using posts, pages, categories, and tags—laying the groundwork for a professional website.
As the internship progresses, learners are tasked with designing and customizing their website. They install and customize themes, create menus, headers, footers, and widgets, and shape the overall look and feel of their site. Participants also complete tasks involving the installation and configuration of essential plugins for contact forms, SEO, security, and backups, ensuring their website is functional and reliable.
Learners then move on to building pages using modern page builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg. Tasks include creating responsive pages using drag-and-drop tools, managing images and media, publishing blog posts, and embedding videos or maps. Additional assignments focus on improving website performance, implementing basic SEO techniques, testing mobile responsiveness, and applying essential security practices.
In the final phase of the internship, learners are challenged to launch a complete live website. Each participant builds a real-world project such as a business website, portfolio, or blog, deploys it on a live server, and submits the live URL for evaluation. Successful completion of all tasks leads to an Internship Completion Certificate, along with practical experience and job-ready WordPress skills.
